MIPAS Auxiliary Data Files

The auxiliary files provided here are used to configure the data processor. In addition to these files, the MIP_CG1_AX and MIP_CO_1AX files are updated frequently (about once per week). For reasons of practicality, the complete MIP_CG1_AX and MIP_CO1_AX history is not maintained on this web site. Files from specific periods can be made available upon request to the Earth Observation helpdesk (eohelp@esa.int)

11 March 2004:
A new set of MIPAS Auxiliary Data Files has been disseminated.
You will find here the ADFs for:

• Level 1 auxiliary files (used at all processing centres)
• Level 2 auxiliary files (used at all processing centres)
• Level 2 NRT auxiliary files (used at PDHS-K and PDHS-E for NRT processing)
• Level 2 OFL auxiliary files (used at D-PAC for Off Line processing)

The new files disseminated are:

MIP_PS2_AXVIEC20040302_110923_20040109_000000_20090209_000000
MIP_PS2_AXVIEC20040302_111023_20040109_000000_20090209_000000
to adjust the noise level after the interferometer heating, and:

MIP_OM2_AXVIEC20040302_110723_20020706_000000_20080706_000000
MIP_OM2_AXVIEC20040302_110823_20020706_000000_20080706_000000
to filter out OM with scans composed of one level.
