Stefano Migliorini is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Meteorology at the University of Reading. He is affiliated to the National Centre for Earth Observation (NCEO).

His research interests lie in the field of data assimilation for numerical weather prediction, and include the study of efficient methods for assimilating satellite measurements and the use of ensemble filtering methodologies for high-resolution data assimilation. He is a Co-Investigator for the NCEO Atmospheric Composition Theme and is a lecturer for the “Remote Sensing” MSc Course at the University of Reading.
