2007 Brochure

The 2007 Dragon Programme brochure presents the activities undertaken since the Lijiang Symposium in July 2006. In the programme section, an up-date is provided on the Dragon sessions at the Envisat Montreux Symposium that was held in April 2007 and attended by some 900 scientists world wide. A report is also provided on the advanced training course in atmosphere remote sensing that was held in October 2006 and hosted by Peking University. ESA and NRSCC have had two progress meetings in Oct. 2006 and March 2007 where planning for the Aix symposium was discussed. Visits were also made to the Second Institution of Oceanography, the venue for the next advanced training course to be held in October 2007. There is background information on the activities of the Dragon Young Scientists and agreements for academic exchanges that will take place between university institutions in Europen and P.R. China to train scientists at Ph.D. level. The project section provides the latest results in land, ocean and atmospheric applications in P.R. China on a project by project basis.

2006 Brochure

The 2006 Dragon Programme brochure presents the activities undertaken since the Santorini Symposium in June 2005. Since that time an additional project on EO and sport events with the case areas on the Athens, Beijing and London Olympic games has been initiated. An update on the programme management is provided as well as a report on the advanced land training course that took place in October 2005. There is background information on the Young Scientists training programme and the latest results in land, ocean and atmospheric applications in P.R. China are presented on a project by project basis. The joint ESA/NRSCC mid term proceedings (SP-611) have also been released and the points of contact to obtain copies are provided.

2005 Brochure

The 2005 Dragon Programme brochure presents the activities undertaken since the project kick off in Xiamen, April 2004 and gives an up-date on the project teaming including the participation of Greek scientists to the programme, programme management, training and early results in land, ocean and atmospheric applications.
